Afternoons this week are going to be for your ‘Habitat Art and DT Project’ - I have included lots of ideas and inspiration in the document below.
Using your knowledge of different animals and their habitats, design and build a habitat, using things from around your home. This could be using natural materials in the garden, paper, card, pens, pencils, paint, bits and bobs such as plastic containers or bottles, bottle tops, toilet roll tubes, cartons, string, cotton, leaves, twigs, pebbles, scissors, glue, tape, magazines, newspapers—the list is endless!
Once you have completed your habitat, you can then make the animals that live there.
At the end of your project you can enjoy playing with your creations. You can making up stories and take your animals on lots of adventures.
I can’t wait to see what you create!
