It has been fantastic to see all the staff and children trying to clock up the '10,000 Miles in May for Mrs Dew' to raise money for a memorial bench and for the GNAAS. Thank you to everyone who is supporting this huge sponsored fundraising event and for all the extra miles that many of you are putting in at home. Mrs Dew would be very proud of all the children!

Useful online books to support your child with early reading:

Here at Kirkby Stephen Primary School we believe that parents are a child's most enduring educator. When parents/carers and practitioners work together in the Early Years, the results have a positive impact on the child's development and learning.

Our aim is to make your child's first experience of school life a happy one. We want to ensure that your child settles in to school as easily and as quickly as possible.

Our classroom provides access to a safe, stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment, which will encourage your child to explore, investigate and learn through firsthand experiences.
