__Week Beginning Monday 1st March 2021__

This week, for Maths we are going to be using Maths.co.uk. Please complete the following tasks for each day:

Monday 1st March 2021 - Number and Place Value (B)

Tuesday 2nd March 2021 - Number and Place Value (C)

Wednesday 3rd March 2021 - Addition and Subtraction (B)

Thursday 4th March 2021 - Addition and Subtraction (C)

Friday 5th March 2021 - Multiplication and Division (B)

**Maths**

This week's maths will look a little different to previous weeks. The maths starts with a starter activity which is an exercise to get you thinking about the maths for the day and provide some discussion points to share. From here the main part of the activity is split into four sections;

- Key Point - Here is some new learning to help you with the activity.

- Get Started - Here are some questions to think about the basics of the maths

- Now Try These - Here are the questions to build the learning.

- Challenge - Here are some questions that require you to apply your knowledge to solve problems.

Each activity, builds in level of difficulty, I do not expect everyone to answer every question. I would like you to make the decision on which questions you answers. The more questions you answer (especially challenge), the more you will stretch your mind and more you will learn.

**Friday 5th February 2021**

Maths today will be on https://www.maths.co.uk/ , it should be the only task you have set.

If you do not have your home school learning record with your details in or have forgotten them, please email me and I can send them to you :)

**Week Beginning Monday 8th February 2021**

Below are this week's maths activities, they are arithmetic questions to finish off this half term. There are two for each day (you do not have to complete both); core is the expected standard for Y5, extension is a little harder. Each document is marked out of 30, I'd love to hear your scores. There are answers at the back of each document!

Good Luck

**Maths Activities**

Children should use the videos below, alongside their daily worksheet to complete their maths. Children should either print out the worksheet and complete it and then stick it in, or have the worksheet on the screen and write their answers in their Blue Home Learning book that we issues before October half-term. If you do not have the Blue Home Learning book, then do not worry, use a normal piece of paper or a notepad you may have at home.
