For the next two weeks we are going to be looking at Information Texts/Non-Chronological Reports. We are following the Oak Academy Trust lessons for this. The first few lessons are looking at features and language used in Non-Chronological Reports. Then we are going to focus on writing each part of our Non-Chronological Reports. The videos are great and talk the children through each part. There are small activities to do throughout the video and then a task at the end. The children can upload this onto Seesaw, or take a picture of work they have written. In the videos it builds up to writing a Non-Chronological Report about tigers, but I have said if children would prefer to write their report about a different animal that is fine, it just means they will have to research about the appearance and diet of their animal, plus some general facts for their opening and closing paragraph - this will make more sense as we go through the lessons. Apologies for the long piece of text, I just wanted to help you understand our end point. I hope this helps, any other questions, don't hesitate to email me. Miss Ockenden
