A great morning of activities 'Experiencing Harvest'. Thank you to all whom make these activities so enjoyable for the children.

Heart Dissection

 

The children completed a heart dissection in Science this week. A range of tasks included;

  • Identifying key structures of the heart by labelling the external parts and by investigating which parts of the heart were connected by flushing water through the Aorta and Superior Vena Cava
  • Exploring different tissues within the heart.
  • Looking for different sections inside the heart including the atrium, ventricles, heart strings, Valves and Coronary arteries.
  • Measuring the ventricle walls. 

 

What a fantastic week at Water Park.

Thanks to all the parents for lending us your children. I know you missed them terribly and they missed you but they had a fantastic week experiencing new activities, working together and building their confidence. I am proud of each and every one of them and I am sure you are too! Mrs Walton
