Hello Everyone!

We hope you all had a lovely half term break.

Please see below the home learning for this coming week. If you have and questions then please don't hesitate to email Miss Griffiths at hannah.griffiths@ksps.cumbria.sch.uk as Miss Thwaites will be in school this week.

Thank you for all your hard work and here's hoping we are back in school shortly. smiley

Some Pictures we have received from the DT project and some book reviews

Hello everyone,

As you have heard from Mrs Wade many of the children will be accessing home learning materials for the immediate future.

Our Topic this half term is ‘metals and magnets’. Please see below the icons pointing you in the right direction of each learning activities and links for this week.

Please encourage your child to continue to read daily, practice their spellings, times tables (TT Rockstars) and handwriting.

In Maths the children will continue to work on  multiplication and division. This was our focus before Christmas so it will be a great way to consolidate and build upon their existing knowledge.

Our Guided Reading text which we will be working from is ‘The Iron Man' by Ted Hughes

Please do stay in touch and email hannah.griffiths@ksps.cumbria.sch.uk and hachel.thwaites@ksps.cumbria.sch.uk with copies of your child’s work or if you have any questions. We are both working together in school so please copy us both into your emails and one of us will respond as soon as we can.

Thank you for your continued support.

Miss Griffiths and Miss Thwaites

Photo's we have received this week.

Well done you everyone!

Important message

Design and Technology - The children have created masks for children who live near a Volcano to protect them from the ash. This is linked to our topic on Volcanoes .

Home learning will take place for the next three days. I have explained what I am expecting the children to do over this period. All children that attended school on Monday were given a 'pack' to take home with some resources in. For some of the activities you will need to view resources on the screen. I have attached information on the icons below.

For each day, I have attached  a time table to follow below . I have set work that we would be completing in class, with the expectation that it will be completed in your books we sent home the week before last.

Mini maths you will be able to mark yourself and the rest I will mark when we are back in school. This is not an ideal situation however, I know you will work hard over the next three days and we will be back to school on Friday before you know it!

If your child was not in school please do get in touch with me today and we will try and arrange you to get a 'pack' from school at social distancing or some other way.

Please do get in touch with me via my email address if you have any questions or need help on anything.
