Hello everyone,

Due to today's School closure please see Year 2's home learning attached below.

Some of the activities set are differentiated (* being the least challenging) marked in the bottom left of each page through to (*** the most challenging).

The work set is revision of objectives previously taught so the children will be familiar with the expectations. Some of the children will benefit from using a hundred square to help them solve the Maths problems; However others will be able to solve these mentally using their knowledge of place value.

Hopefully we will be back in School as normal on Tuesday so I look forward to seeing you all then.

Home Learning

Hello everyone.

As you have heard from Mrs Wade many of the children will be accessing home learning materials for the immediate future. Our Topic this half term is ‘The Great Fire of London’. Please see below the attached Topic Web, learning activities and links for this week.

Please encourage your child to continue to practise their spellings, handwriting and phonics.

In Maths the children will continue to work on ‘money’. This was our focus before the Christmas holidays so it will be a great way to consolidate and build upon their existing knowledge. On a Friday the children will start work on 'data handling' with Mrs Tunstall.

Our Guided Reading text which we will be working from is ‘Vlad and the Great Fire of London’.

Please do stay in touch and email jenny.finch@ksps.cumbria.sch.uk with copies of your child’s work or if you have any questions. Mrs Tunstall will be available on a Friday claire.tunstall@ksps.cumbria.sch.uk

Thank you for your continued support.
